About the event
During this session you will learn to cut and assemble glass, use Frits, inclusions to create a stunning glass trellis for the garden. Whether you chose it to be functional or just for decoration to liven up a dull space.
The workshop will begin with a safety briefing, then an indroduction into the world of glass fusing, the tools you will be using and the types of glass being used, and the firing. You will have the opportintuy to practice your cutting before designing and creating your final piece.
Please bring a packed Lunch with you as we will break for a short lunch during this day. Refreshments and cake or biscuits will also be on offer.
You will be making 3 pieces of glass for the trellis. The base glass will be pre cut to the exact size of the trellis for you and you will be working on top of that.
NB: not suitable for under 16's.
