About Me
Muddy Puddle Pottery is run by me, Helen, in Hampshire where I was born and raised, and now live with my husband, two young daughters and cat.
Having my home studio in our garage means I'm never far away from my work and with my two young children around to 'help' it means there are always creative projects on the go and new ideas being developed.
I am a qualified primary teacher with over 10 years' experience and academic qualifications in art and sculpture.
I like to offer my customers the opportunity to create out of clay, to glaze pottery and to fuse with glass in order to make each piece memorable and unique.

A Muddy Puddle Pottery experience can be tailored to your own requirements with all equipment, materials and teaching provided. Whether you're celebrating a birthday, wanting some family time, making some gifts, wanting to capture those precious new baby prints or just wanting to try your hand at something for the first time, I can help.
The mobile part of my studio packs away neatly into my car so I can bring the enjoyment of ceramics to you (glass fusing must happen in the studio only); including a portable tabletop potter's wheel, a table and benches!
Please note: During the COVID pandemic I am not offering a mobile service and bookable sessions only.
I can set up in a variety of spaces, whether it's your home, garage, village hall or classroom.
