During this session you will learn to cut and assemble glass, use Frits, inclusions, vitrigraphs and powders to create a stunning small glass wave or curve.  

The workshop will begin with a safety briefing,  then an indroduction into the world of glass fusing, the tools you will be using, types of glass being used, and the firing process.  You will have the opportintuy to practice your cutting before designing and creating your final piece.  You can choose between a flower meadow, seascape or if you have an idea yourself I will guide you through it. Please be aware that not every idea can be made in the time given or with the materials provided. 

Please note: you will not be slumping (bending) the glass yourself because this will happen after a first firing in the kiln at a later  time. But the process will be explained to you. 

Cakes and biscuits will be provided and hot drinks. Feel free to bring your own refreshements if you wish and  notify me of any dietary requirements within 48 hours before the event as I will do my best to cater for you. 

NB: Not suitable for under 16's and please do not wear open toes shoes due to safety reasons. 

Your items will be ready to collect within 2 weeks.
