About The Event
During this session you will learn to cut and assemble glass, use Frits, inclusions, wires to create a stunning glass bee or dragonfly to hang in the garden.
The workshop will begin with a safety briefing, then an indroduction into the world of glass fusing, the tools you will be using and the types of glass being used, and the firing. You will have the opportintuy to practice your cutting before designing and creating your final piece. You can choose between a bee or dragonfly. Please note the base pieve of glass (the shape of the insect) will be pre-cut due to it's complexity.
The hook to hang in the garden will be provided for you.
NB: not suitable for under 16's. No experience is required however some of the base glass will be pre cut due to the complexity of the shapes.
