About The Event
During this session you will learn to cut and assemble glass, use Frits, inclusions, vitrigraphs and powders to create a stunning small glass wave or curve.
The workshop will begin with a safety briefing, then an indroduction into the world of glass fusing, the tools you will be using, types of glass being used, and the firing process. You will have the opportintuy to practice your cutting before designing and creating your final piece. You can choose between a flower meadow, seascape.
Please note: you will not be slumping the glass yourself because this will happen after a first firing at a later time. But the process will be explained to you.
Cakes and or biscuits will be provided and hot drinks. Feel free to bring your own also or notify me of any dietary requirements.
