During this session you will learn to cut and assemble glass, use Frits, inclusions, vitrigraphs  to create 3 stunning pieces of glass.

-a  suncatcher (sea scape) or rainbow

-  flower meadow coaster

and either a hanging dragonfly or bee  OR a large fused glass curve or wave. 

The workshop will begin with a safety briefing,  then an indroduction into the world of glass fusing, the tools you will be using, types of glass being used, and the firing process.  You will have the opportintuy to practice your cutting before designing and creating your final pieces.  Please be aware that this will be taught, the first part will be to learn to create a flower meadow on a cpaster, the second part to create a seascape onto your glass suncatchers and then you will be able to .

Please note: you will not be slumping the glass yourself because this will happen after a first firing at a later  time. But the process will be explained to you. 

This includes an afternoon tea style lunch.  Please inform me of any dietry requirments before hand. Biscuits will be provided and hot drinks throughout the day. Feel free to bring your own refreshements if you wish and  notify me of any dietary requirements within 48 hours before the event as I will do my best to cater for you. 

NB: Not suitable for under 16's and please do not wear open toes shoes due to safety reasons. 

Your items will be ready to collect within 2 weeks.
